It is mandatory that people learn their history ‐ the good, bad & ugly. Therefore, Black August should be observed in an effort to understand our history and develop a collective memory as a nation of Afrikan descended People. This collective memory will assist our struggle for a better world for our people and humanity as a whole.
This month chronicles many of the events; remote past, recent and current; that reflect major initiatives of organized resistance. They serve as an honorable legacy providing us lessons that we can use as examples and models for what lies ahead as we assert our humanity in pursuit of our GOD‐given right to independence, national sovereignty and self‐determination.
Peace and Love through Revolutionary Action!
