Herbal Blends For Vitality
I have always been so inspired by the natural healing properties of plants, roots, herbs, bark, leaves, flowers, and tea. Creating special blends for family and friends with asthma, High blood pressure, high stress levels, and those with estranged relationships with herbs was my initial motivation in creating Ishongo Herbal Blends. Over time, finding ways to ensure my herbal blends were top quality, safe, and appropriate for loved ones became a driving force which lead me in my educational journey. Over the years, I have be blessed to learn from various communities and elders which has helped to birth a beautiful relationship with the land, nature, and the ways in which we can work together. In more recent years I have add the honour of studying Astro-Herbalism at the School of Evolutionary Herbalism which as really enabled my knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to bloom.
I —along with the support and guidance of various growers, herbalist and healers around the Chicagoland area and abroad, have created a small Herbal Blend Company called Ishongo Earthwork. We are an EarthFirst Small Business, choosing to stay small and intentional.
We have worked tirelessly and with great love and intention, to create custom herbal blends based on individual need as well as general blends that are designed to help aide in the process of healing many of today’s common aliments such as:high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, diabetes, asthma, breast and uterine care, prostate health, and brain health.Ishongo Earthwork does not claim to heal or treat ailments or disease. In addition to creating high quality Herbal Blends, one of the aims of Ishongo Earthwork is to help create a practice of actively setting aside time for a cup of health fortifying tea, as a means of slowing down, allowing time for yourself, and your health. It is also our intention to encourage both creative and critical conversation around getting re-connected to the real time needs of our planet, our health, and future generations.
