To be informed around the current needs of the people and the planet, to be an active participant, to contribute needed resources, service, and energy (within ones abilities, no matter how seemingly small or limited), I believe, we should all do on some level. Our planet works for us everyday without compromise, providing us what need to roll out life. We should reciprocate her efforts in service in honor of our Ancestors before us.
I have the honor of serving with various independent individual activist, organizers, human rights enforcers, and community organizations throughout Chicago and across the country. These people and groups have helped to ground me, humble me, challenge me, and educated me in ways that have enabled me to become increasingly more effective in the work I set out to do. My current commitment has been in the capacity of Community Education, Housing as Human Right, Prison Abolition, Political / Politicized Prisoners, Food Justice and Health Well & Being. I currently serve on the board of Chicago Anti-Eviction Campaign.
